TERMS OF SERVICE — BLOKAONLINE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BlokaOnline (“we”, “our”, “us”), a product owned and operated by Apolytos Technologies Ltd, registered in Uganda. By using BlokaOnline or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

ABOUT BLOKAONLINE

BlokaOnline is an online platform for discovering, listing, and managing property listings in Uganda. Users can browse listings for free, sign in to access map and location features, and listers can publish properties for a fee. We connect users directly with property owners, brokers, and agents. BlokaOnline does not own, manage, or guarantee any property listed on the platform.

ELIGIBILITY

To use this platform, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Create an account with accurate information
Use the service in compliance with Ugandan law

USER ACCOUNTS

When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and updated information
Keep your login details secure
Be responsible for all activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

LISTINGS AND CONTENT

Property listings must be:

Accurate, truthful, and updated
Owned or authorized by the lister
Free from misleading or fraudulent information
Listers are fully responsible for the content they publish.

We reserve the right to remove listings that violate our policies or Ugandan law.

MAP & LOCATION DATA

Signed-in users can view estimated or exact property locations through Google Maps.

You understand that:

Map pins may not always reflect the exact final property location
BlokaOnline is not responsible for inaccuracies caused by listers
Location features are for convenience and guidance only

PAYMENTS BY LISTERS

Listers pay a fee to publish their property.

When you make a payment:

Charges are displayed clearly before checkout
Payments are processed securely via Mobile Money, Pesapal, or other approved gateways
Fees are non-refundable, except in cases where a duplicate payment occurs or where we fail to publish your listing due to a system error
BlokaOnline does not charge users who are browsing listings.

BLOKAONLINE'S ROLE (Very Important)

BlokaOnline:

Is not a real-estate agent
Does not verify ownership of properties
Does not participate in negotiations, payments, or rental agreements
Is not responsible for property conditions, pricing, or availability
All communication, negotiation, and transactions occur directly between users and listers.
We strongly advise all users to verify properties physically and make safe, informed decisions.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users may NOT:

Post fraudulent or misleading listings
Impersonate another person or entity
Use the platform to conduct scams, phishing, or illegal activities
Upload harmful or malicious code
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on BlokaOnline — including branding, design, code, and features — is owned by Apolytos Technologies Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or modify any part of the platform without written permission.

PRIVACY POLICY

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using BlokaOnline, you also agree to our Privacy Policy. (If you want, I can generate a complete Privacy Policy next.)

THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

BlokaOnline may include links to:

Google Maps
Social media property videos (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram)
Payment gateways
We are not responsible for the content, policies, or services of third parties.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

BlokaOnline is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

That listings are accurate
That properties meet your expectations
That the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
Use the service at your own risk.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apolytos Technologies Ltd is not liable for:

Losses related to property visits, negotiations, or transactions
Fraudulent activities conducted by users or listers
Inaccurate map data or listing information
Damages arising from use or inability to use the platform
Your interactions with other users are solely your responsibility.

CHANGES TO THE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.
